To apply for paid student membership you must be
- A full-time or part-time student at a tertiary level or equivalent, studying HR, business, commerce or psychology, AND
- Have not yet entered the workforce
Should you have prior HR experience or are currently working in an HR role, this membership level is not suitable for you.
Step1: Application and payment
You will need to complete an application form, provide your CV with the relevant details and pay your first year's membership fee ($35). By applying online and paying by credit card, there will be no joining fee, and a receipt will be automatically emailed to you.
Step 2: Your member profile
Your new AHRI membership profile will be created with your personal and employment/study details. Please note your username and password so you can use them to access members-only webpages once your application is completed.
Step 3: Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email within seven business days and will be able to access your member benefits immediately. If your application does not meet requirements, you will be contacted with a recommendation.
If you are a current free student member, you can upgrade to paid student membership to access benefits. Complete the online application form with your name, member ID and payment details.
