What is graduate membership?
Graduate membership is a professional-level membership offered to support recent HR graduates in the first two years of their HR career. Graduate members receive all the professional level benefits at a subsidised rate including AHRI ProCover insurance and full access to member resources, development programs and networking opportunities to help you build a successful HR career. Please ensure you have a copy of your transcript or certificate to upload to the qualifications section of the application form.
Graduate membership offers recent HR graduates a professional level membership at the reduced annual fee. This is available for two years. At the completion of your two-year graduate membership, one of our member support team will be in contact to guide you through the most appropriate next level membership that will match your career status.
You can apply for graduate membership, if you have graduated from an HR relevant qualification (at Bachelor degree level or higher) within the last two years.
If you have four or more years' HR work experience, this membership level is not for you.
To apply for your AHRI graduate membership, you must provide
- Proof of your graduation (eg. academic transcript, certificate or testamur) AND
- Your current CV
Step 1: Application and payment
You will need to complete an application form, provide your CV with the relevant details and pay your first year's membership fee. After applying online and paying by credit card, a receipt will be automatically emailed to you.
Step 2: Your member profile
Your new AHRI membership profile will be created with your personal and employment/study details. Please note your username and password so you can use them to access members-only webpages once your application is completed.
Step 3: Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email and welcome pack after your application has been reviewed and approved (up to 14 working days). If your application does not meet requirements, you will be contacted with a recommendation.
